Here are 5 new restaurants and bars in Mumbai to try in September-October 2024:

1. Bombay Dak, Bandra

Bombay Daak is the latest project from celebrated chef Niyati Rao and Sagar Neve. At this new bar, the duo behind the award-winning Ekaa introduces “daaru” and “chakna,” which are odes to India’s rich drinking culture. The tasting menu experience allows diners to interact with the team in an open kitchen setting, while the a la carte menu consists of hyper-local cocktails. Each of the small plates and drinks have been selected after a year of exhaustive research across the country. Additionally, the intimate thirty-seat space aims to capture the ambiance of a pre-colonial Indian bar with deep wood interiors, hand-painted botanical tiles, restored light fixtures from an old British Bombay whisky bar, and other thoughtful details.

The first floor has an electrifying dance floor and bar and forms an exciting party zone. Lastly, Next Door also offers a rooftop experience for relaxing dining and drinks under the stars.
