IRDAI Recruitment 2024: The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) has released the official notification for the recruitment for various Assistant Manager posts. The application process has started and interested candidates can visit the official website. irdai.gov.in will be continued. The last date to apply is 20th September 2024. Apart from this, the last date to pay the application fees is also 20th September. Before applying, candidates are advised to read the important information related to the recruitment.
Vacancy details-
The Insurance Regulatory Authority of India has invited applications for a total of 49 posts of Assistant Manager. Out of which 21 posts are for general category candidates. 4 posts are reserved for EWS category candidates and 12 posts are reserved for OBC category candidates. 8 posts have been reserved for SC and 4 for ST.
Ability –
1. The candidate must be between 21 and 30 years of age. The candidate’s age will be counted as of 20 September 2024. This means that the candidate’s date of birth must not be earlier than 21 September 1994 or later than 20 September 2003.
2. Apart from this, 5 years relaxation in maximum age limit has been provided to candidates from SC/ST categories and 3 years relaxation in maximum age limit has been provided to candidates from OBC categories.
3. Educational qualification is different for different posts, so candidates should read the official notification.
Selection process-
Firstly, candidates will have to appear for the preliminary examination in Phase-1. There will be a descriptive examination in Phase-2. After this, candidates will have to appear for the interview round. 160 objective questions will be asked in the online preliminary examination in Phase-1. For this, 90 minutes of time will be given. Three papers will be required to be submitted in Phase-2. Each paper will carry 100 marks and candidates will be given 1 hour to complete it.
To apply, candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 750 and all reserved category candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 100. Candidates will be paid a salary of up to Rs 1,46,000 per month.
