Watch: Bhagyashree shows how to use seeds to make delicious omega-3 rich cookies

Bhagyashree never fails to wow us with her easy and delicious recipes. On Tuesday, the actress posted another recipe video on Instagram. In the video, Bhagyashree demonstrates how to make cookies that can be enjoyed with tea or coffee. She can be heard saying, “This is a simple breakfast that you can have with tea or coffee. It contains pumpkin seeds, flax seeds, and sesame seeds. All these seeds provide you with potassium, magnesium, iron, and a lot of fiber. These things keep your heart healthy and absolutely fit because they have a high amount of Omega-3.”

See the step-by-step recipe below:

  1. Soak flax seeds in water for 15 minutes. They will become liquid after adding water.
  2. Now, place the flax seeds in liquid form in the blender. Add the mixed herbs, some garlic, chili flakes, a little olive oil and salt.
  3. Apply a little oil on baking paper and spread the mixture in a thin layer.
  4. Add pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds, seasonings and salt, and a light brushing of olive oil. Place in the oven. Once it’s baked through, take it out and enjoy!

In the caption, Bhagyashree wrote, “Seeds are packed with omega 3 and almost all essential micro and macro nutrients… it is easy to include them in your daily diet. But for those who don’t like the taste, here is something you can delight your taste buds with. Enjoy these crackers with yogurt dip or hummus as a nutritious snack.”

Earlier, in an Instagram post, Bhagyashree shared a carousel of memories from one of her “amazing vacations” with her group of friends in Prague. She said, “I remember my mother used to feed me these rajgira laddus. Our country offers varieties of millets other than wheat, but perhaps we have forgotten to use them. However, now, due to the phenomenon of gluten intolerance, we have been reminded of these forgotten millets again.
