BJP wins MCD Standing Committee elections

MCD election results: BJP defeated Aam Aadmi Party in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) elections. BJP has won 7 out of 12 zones. While Aam Aadmi Party has been able to register victory in only five zones. There is a wave of happiness in BJP over this victory. With this victory, BJP has nine members in the Standing Committee. While Aam Aadmi Party has eight members. Let us tell you that there are a total of 18 members in the MCD Standing Committee. This committee is very influential because this committee deals with important administrative and financial matters in the Municipal Corporation.

BJP candidates expressed their joy over the victory
At the same time, there is a wave of happiness in the BJP after winning the MCD Ward Committee elections. Anju Devi, BJP candidate from ward no. 29 of Narela zone, thanked the party leadership and all the councillors of her zone for her victory. She said that the councillors have been struggling for funds for the last two years. Now that the standing committee is going to be formed, we will be able to raise our concerns there. At the same time, BJP candidate Babita from ward no. 31 of Narela zone also expressed her happiness for winning the MCD Ward Committee elections. She has given the credit of this victory to the BJP party, including MP Yogendra Chandolia and all the councillors of Narela zone.

At the same time, the BJP also defeated the BJP in ward number 30 of Narela zone. The party candidate Pawan Kumar thanked the entire party for winning the MCD Ward Committee elections. He specifically said that MP Yogendra Chandolia and all the councillors have worked hard day and night to win these elections. We will take Narela zone to the top in Delhi. We will form a standing committee for the fund and all the incoming councillors will be given the fund.

In this MCD election, elections were held for nine of the 12 regional-level ward committees of councillors and for the Standing Committee, the highest decision-making body of the MCD, including a chairman and a vice-chairman. Elections were held in three zones. Elections were not held in Karol Bagh, City SP and Keshav Puram as neither the BJP nor the AAP had fielded their candidates. AAP councillor Rakesh Joshi from Karol Bagh zone was elected unopposed as chairman while Jyoti Gautam and Ankush Narang were elected as vice-chairmen and standing committee members. The BJP had not fielded any of its candidates here.
