Candidates who have applied for the Maharashtra Gazetted Combined Civil Recruitment published by the Maharashtra Public Service Commission are hereby informed that the Maharashtra Public Service Commission has postponed the preliminary examination scheduled on 25th August.
In this regard, the Maharashtra Public Service Commission is preparing a plan to conduct a separate examination for the recruitment of Agricultural Service Officer by the end of October. They are also protesting against the postponement of the selection competition for 258 posts.
MLA Rohit Pawar also participated in this protest. Moreover, NCP leader Sharad Pawar said in his tweet that if the government fails to fulfil the demands of the students, he himself will join the protest in Pune.

The student protests continue but the Commission has not made any statement on the matter. The Commission has said that it will conduct a separate examination for recruitment for these posts. This will be held at the end of October. The call for this selection examination may be made on the 25th or 26th.
MPPSC Exam Date Announced
The Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) said in its Twitter post: It has been decided to postpone the exam which is scheduled to be held on August 25. The exam date will be announced soon.
