Couple started EasyFlight and landed in court for sexual act on crowded plane

A British couple was caught in the act and initiated an EasyFlight due to their “public sex spectacle.” The incident reportedly occurred in March when Bradley Smith and Antonia Sullivan sparked outrage after being caught performing a sex act in public, leading to them being escorted off the flight.

The couple were reportedly on a flight to Bristol, returning from a holiday in Tenerife, Spain, when several passengers reported their inappropriate behaviour.

According to a major British newspaper, Bradley Smith sat in seat 16A next to his girlfriend, Antonia Sullivan, who was sitting in 16B on the 7 a.m. flight. His traveling companion in seat 16C witnessed the NSFW act.

A mother and her youngest daughter, sitting in the row behind the couple, also witnessed the incident.

What exactly happened?

His traveling companion in seat 16C was one of three people who saw the explicit act, according to The Sun. A mother-daughter duo sitting behind the couple also witnessed it.

According to witnesses, Bradley asked Antonia to perform a lewd act after the flight took off from Spain. The pair placed some clothes on Bradley’s lap and began their explicit act on the crowded flight.

“After a few minutes the witness realized that the couple had placed some coats on Smith’s lap, and vigorous hand movements under the coat followed,” prosecutor Maree Doyle told Bristol Magistrates’ Court. “The witness sitting next to them could see what was happening, while a mother and her teenage daughter sitting behind the couple could also see what was happening,” the prosecutor said.

When angry passengers called cabin crew to complain, Antonia denied the allegations, but the couple were later kicked off the flight.

In court, the couple pleaded guilty to committing a sexual act in public. They were ordered to pay £100 (approximately Rs 11,000) in compensation to each of the three witnesses.

Bradley was also ordered to complete 300 hours of community service, while Antonia was sentenced to 270 hours.

Judge Lynne Matthews scolded the couple for their explicit behavior in public, saying: “They had no regard for the feelings of other passengers. There was a boy sitting behind you who could see what was happening. Who do you think you are and what right do you think it gives you to behave that way in full view of the people on that flight?
