Home help services provider Bookmybai raises Rs 20 crore led by Inflection Point Ventures

Mumbai-based home help services provider Bookmybai has raised Rs 2 crore in a pre-Series A CCPS funding round funds round led by Turning Point Venturesa Gurugram-based angel investment firm.

The startup plans to use the capital raised to expand its presence to new locations and hire 50,000 additional domestic workers, strengthening its network and service efficiency.

Founded in 2016, the Mumbai-based startup enables families in India and abroad, including cities like Mumbai, Pune, Thane, Bangalore, Hyderabad, UK, US, Singapore, China and Australia, to easily hire reliable and permanent domestic help for their homes.

Who is the founder?

Anupam Singhal is the founder of Bookmybai. He graduated from PES University with a Bachelor of Technology and has over 15 years of extensive experience in the HR technology industry.

Our advanced geolocation technology ensures that employers can find a suitable domestic helper within a 1 kilometre radius of their residence. We are also dedicated to empowering 200,000 families by offering them safe and reliable employment opportunities in domestic work, thereby contributing to their economic progress,” Sinhal said.

Bookmybai claims to have an extensive database of over 200,000 registered housekeepers, which is a major competitive advantage in the domestic service industry.

The startup believes the vast network enables the platform to provide families in India and abroad access to a wide range of trusted, pre-screened candidates.

Its goal is to further strengthen its presence in the market and continue to provide reliable and hassle-free solutions to households in these cities.
