NEET UG PG Counselling 2024: As per letters issued by the Directorate of Medical Education and Training, UP, more than 80 candidates have been barred from appearing in NEET PG-2024 in 2023 due to their mistake and 276 others have been barred from appearing in NEET UG Counselling 2023. She has been arrested.

A total of 81 candidates who were allotted PG (MD/MS) seats under the vacancy round in the academic year 2023-2024 were not admitted to the allotted seats. The vacancy round is the last option to get a seat as in this round all the remaining seats are given to the eligible candidates who wish to pursue the PG course. If they do not accept the seat, that seat will remain vacant for the entire year (academic year).

As per the counselling-related order issued by the government on September 21, 2023, candidates who are not admitted in the allotted seat in the vacancy forfeit round will not only forfeit their security deposit but will also be debarred from appearing in the NEET PG counselling in the session 2024-25. They will also be debarred from appearing.

According to a notice issued by the office of Kinjal Singh, Director General of Medical Education, “There are 81 candidates who were not admitted to MD/MS courses after allotment of seats in the vacancy loss round. They will be barred from taking NEET PG 2024-25 counselling.” All these candidates were allotted seats in various government and private medical colleges in different districts of the state in October and November. Also, 276 UG candidates were barred from taking part in the second round of NEET UG-2024 counselling as the documents submitted by them were not correct and were rejected. Some of them could not produce the claimed certificate while filling the online form and in many cases the name on the certificate was different.
