Nvidia dethrones Apple as the most valuable company in the world

Nvidia has dethroned Apple to become the world’s most valuable company, driven by explosive demand for its advanced AI supercomputing chips, according to Reuters.

Nvidia’s market valuation briefly rose to a record $3.53 trillion on Friday, October 25, marginally surpassing Apple’s $3.52 trillion, according to data from the London Stock Exchange Group plc (LSEG).

The change highlights Nvidia’s role in the rapidly growing AI sector, with the company’s chips powering everything from data centers to autonomous vehicles.

This milestone also follows a brief period in June when Nvidia first held the top spot, only to be eclipsed by Apple and Microsoft. For months, these tech giants have been in close competition, and Microsoft currently has a market capitalization of $3.2 trillion.

This is a developing story and will be updated shortly.
