Vistara-Air India Merger: How to Link Club Vistara Account with Air India Flying Returns to Avail Benefits

Starting November 12, 2024, Vistara will officially merge its fleet with Air India. All future bookings for flights operated by Vistara will be processed through the Air India website. This transition includes a merger of the airlines’ frequent flyer programs: Club Vistara and Flying Returns.

Customers with accounts in both frequent flyer programs can link them by following these steps:

Step 1: Log in to your account: Visit the Air India Flying Returns website.

Step 2: Select ‘Link Accounts’ – Find the option to link your Club Vistara and Flying Returns accounts.

Step 3: Enter your information: Provide the required information for both accounts.

Step 4: Confirm pairing: Follow the instructions to complete the pairing process.

By linking your accounts now, you will ensure a transition to the merged program.

This will allow you to avail the services offered by Air India.

Important information about migration

This The transfer will be carried out in a 1:1 ratio, and the transferred points will have an extended validity of one year.

This means that for every Club Vistara point you have, you will receive the same amount of Flying Returns reward points. You will also receive an equivalent amount of Flying Returns tier points for each Club Vistara tier point in your account.

Failure to link accounts manually may result in automatic merging based on personal data such as name and contact information.

Your tier status will be determined by the accumulated points you have earned in the Flying Returns and Club Vistara programs. Since both programs have four levels each, levels will be assigned in a 1:1 ratio.

This means that Club Vistara Base, Silver, Gold, and Platinum members will be assigned Red, Silver, Gold, and Platinum levels in the Flying Returns program by default, based on information from AirIndia website.

You may also be upgraded to a higher level if you qualify based on accumulated points.
