CTET December 2024: CBSE has started the application process for the CTET exam for the December session. Candidates who want to appear in the December session of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test can apply by visiting the official website of CBSE CTET, ctet.nic.in. The last date for application is 16 October 2024. In the notification, it was mentioned that the date of CTET exam is 1 December 2024 but it was also said that if the number of candidates is more in any city, then the exam can also be conducted on 30 November 2024. In such a situation, CTET candidates will also need to be prepared to give the exam on 30 November. The CTET exam was conducted in 20 languages.
Let us tell you that CBSE conducts CTET exam twice a year. The first exam is held in the month of July and the second one in the month of December. The selected candidates appearing in CTET Paper-1 will be considered eligible for the recruitment of teachers for classes 1 to 5. Whereas, the selected candidates appearing in Paper-2 will be considered eligible for the recruitment of teachers for classes 6 to 8. Candidates who pass this exam can apply for appointment to the post of teachers in Kendriya Vidyalaya, Navodaya Vidyalaya and Army Schools across the country.

CTET Paper-2 will be held on 1st December from 9:30 am to 12 noon. The paper will be of two and a half hours duration.
CTET Paper-1 will be held on 1st December from 2:30 to 5 pm. This paper will also be of two and a half hours duration.

1000 rupees for document 1 or document 2
For both documents – Rs 1200
SC, ST, Divyang
For Paper-1 or Paper-2 – Rs 500
For both newspapers: Rs. 600.
What should the minimum grades be?
To pass the CTET exam, any candidate must obtain minimum qualifying marks.
CTET Minimum Pass Marks: For general category, you need to score at least 90 marks out of 150 (60 percent), while for SC, ST, you need to score 82 marks out of 150 (55 percent).
