Haryana Legislative Assembly Election results: The results of the Haryana Assembly elections have arrived. Bharatiya Janata Party ( BJP ) made history and scored a hat-trick of wins in the state. The BJP has crossed the majority mark and is going to form the BJP government in the state for the third consecutive time.
The three most discussed issues in the Haryana Assembly elections were farmers, soldiers and fighters. The Congress tried to capitalize on these issues, but a move by Prime Minister Narendra Modi ruined the entire planning of the Congress and for the third time in a row, once the BJP government was formed in Haryana.
In fact, Prime Minister Modi used his most successful formula before the Haryana elections. He changed the face of the Chief Minister of the state 6 months before the elections. Manohar Lal Khattar was removed from the post of Chief Minister and forced to contest the Lok Sabha elections and Naib Singh Saini was appointed Chief Minister in his place. With the change of CM’s face, PM Modi changed the anti-incumbency in the state to pro-incumbency. Despite all the efforts of the Congress, the BJP managed to return to power once again.

Prime Minister Modi’s decision to change the face of the Chief Minister before the elections was not the first in Haryana. Even before this, the BJP had adopted this formula in many states and managed to return to power. These include Haryana, Tripura, Uttarakhand and Gujarat. However, the BJP’s move in Karnataka was not successful.
Gujarat- In Gujarat, the BJP changed the Chief Minister twice before the assembly elections and both times it benefited the BJP. In the year 2017, BJP made a bid for Vijay Rupani by eliminating Anandi Ben Patel and BJP won. Similarly, ahead of the 2022 assembly elections, the party appointed Vijay Rupani and Bhupendra Patel as chief minister; This party measure was also successful.
Uttarakhand: BJP played the Gujarat bet in Uttarakhand and was successful here too. A year before the assembly elections, the BJP removed Trivendra Singh Rawat and appointed Tirakh Singh Rawat as Chief Minister, but he also remained CM for only four months. After him, Pushkar Singh Dhami was given the command of the state and the BJP won the state.
Tripura: BJP used its successful formula in Gujarat and Uttarakhand also in Tripura. A few months before the elections, the party removed Chief Minister Biplab Dev and handed over the command of the State to Dr Manik Saha. The BJP benefited from this in the elections and managed to return to power for the second consecutive time.
Karnataka: The BJP’s move to change the Chief Minister before the elections was not successful in Karnataka. Before the elections, the party removed BS Yediyurappa and made Basavaraj Bommai Chief Minister, but this time this move failed and the BJP lost the elections. Even after this defeat, the BJP did not abandon its reliable bet and ran in Haryana and achieved success.
