NEET PG Result 2024: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will release the result of the NEET PG exam. Candidates will be able to check their results by visiting the official website of NBEMS, natboard.edu.in. The NEET PG exam was conducted in two shifts on August 11, 2024, in 185 cities across the country. 2 lakh 38 thousand students have registered for this exam. Let us tell you that this is done for Master of Surgery, Doctor of Medicine, and PG Diploma programs. Since the exam will be conducted in more than one shift, the result will be prepared on the basis of normalization process. Through the NEET PG exam, students will get admission to 26,168 Doctor of Medicine (MD), 13,649 Master of Surgery, 992 PG Diploma, and 1,338 DNB CET seats.
What was the limit last year?
Let us tell you that last year NEET PG cutoff for admission to MD/MS/DNB/Diploma courses was 291 marks for General and EWS, General-PWD: 274 marks, SC, ST, OBC (including PWDs belonging to these categories): was 257 marks.
Minimum qualification criteria for counselling
The minimum qualifications to participate in NEET PG counselling will be as per the Postgraduate Medical Education Regulations, 2023 notified by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
General/EWS: 50th percentile
SC/ST/OBC: (including SC/ST/OBC with disabilities) 40th percentile
Disabled without reservations: 45th percentile
The cutoffs for these percentiles will be published along with the results.
