The exam is likely to be conducted on March 29 and 30, 2025. Candidates can check the official notification by visiting the website natboard.edu.in. The final schedule of NEET SS will be released soon on the official websites natboard.edu.in and nbe.edu.in.
In the information bulletin for NEET SS 2024, candidates will know about the eligibility, fee structure, exam schedule, and other details. For any queries/clarifications/assistance, candidates can write to NBEMS on their communication portal. NEET SS is an eligibility and qualifying exam for admission to various super specialty courses of DM/MCh and Dr.NB.
In August, the Supreme Court dismissed a plea challenging the National Medical Commission’s (NMC) decision not to conduct the NEET SS exam in 2024. A bench comprising Chief Justice DY Chandrachud, Justice JB Pardiwala and Justice Manoj Mishra said the NMC’s decision was quite justified and it had refused to alter the exam schedule.
In the last hearing held in July, the Supreme Court had issued a notice to the NMC on the petition of 13 doctors. Referring to an earlier judgment, the petitioners said that NEET SS will be conducted every year and the Supreme Court has already fixed the schedule for admission in the super specialty slot.
In a recent notification on the tentative schedule for NEET SS, NBEMS said the schedule was decided after NMC approval and in compliance with the Supreme Court order of August 14.
