BSSC Second Inter-Tier Examination: The Bihar Staff Selection Commission has said that the written examination for the BSSC second inter-tier recruitment will be conducted in online mode (computer-based test). The Commission said that it should be considered as a part of the original notification. It is noteworthy that thousands of candidates were confused whether the examination would be conducted in OMR (paper-pencil mode) or in online mode. Let us inform you that the Bihar Staff Selection Commission had released the vacancy for the second inter-tier recruitment in the year 2023 after almost 9 years. The advertisement for the first inter-tier examination was published in 2014. Its final result was completed in seven years. Applications for the second inter-tier recruitment have been accepted till November 2023. 25.5 lakh candidates have applied for the inter-tier examination. The applicants are waiting for the examination. Applications for 12 thousand 199 vacancies have been accepted in this recruitment. The posts of LDC, Revenue Clerk, Panchayat Secretary, Filaria Inspector, Assistant Instructor and Assistant Tank Secretary and others will be filled up. Out of a total of 12,199 vacancies, 5,503 posts are unreserved. 1,201 posts are reserved for EWS, 1,377 for Backward Class, 2,083 for Extremely Backward Class, 1,540 for SC, 91 for ST and 404 for Backward Class women.

Earlier, BSSC had provided an opportunity to correct the errors in the online application and upload the certificate.

How will selection be done in this recruitment?

Candidates will be selected through a preliminary written exam, a main exam and a skill test.

exam pattern

– The preliminary exam will be objective. In the preliminary exams, questions will be asked on General Studies, General Sciences, Mathematics and Mental Ability.

The result will be published using the standard method.

In case the exam is held in different shifts, the result will be published according to the standard method. In PT, candidates with five times the number of vacancies will be approved. These candidates will appear in the main exam.

Inter-level Preliminary Examination Passing Marks: Minimum qualifying marks for general category are 40%, 36.5% for BC, 34% for MBC, 32% for SC ST.
