The six-phase written examination for recruitment to 21,391 posts of Constable in Bihar ended on Wednesday. The Central Selection Board (Constable Recruitment) has informed that 1,787,520 candidates had registered to appear for the exam, of which 1,438,154 candidates had downloaded the e-admit card. Of them, 67 per cent of the candidates appeared for the exam. In all six phases, 59 candidates were caught with Bluetooth devices, taking the exam in place of others, etc. The Bihar Police Constable recruitment exam was held on August 7, 11, 18, 21, 25 and 28. Students who appeared for the exam on the last day said that the science questions were getting tougher. That is why there was trouble in solving it. 100 questions were asked in the exam. Minimum qualification criteria

Candidates who obtain less than 30% of the marks in the written examination will be declared as having failed in the physical efficiency test. This means that in order to proceed to the next stage of the physical test, it is mandatory to obtain at least 30 percent of the marks. Only those who qualify the written examination will be called for the physical test of the next stage. The final merit list for selection will be drawn up on the basis of the marks obtained in running, high jump and shot put in the physical efficiency tests. The marks of the written examination will not be included in the final merit list. The written examination will be for qualification only. Only the candidates who qualify in it will be allowed to enter the next stage of Physical Test (Physical Efficiency Test).

– In view of reservation of vacancies based on the marks obtained in the written examination, candidates will be selected for the physical test 5 times per category.

– Second stage of the selection process – Physical test rules

The second stage, “Physical Capacity/Efficiency Test”, will have a total of 100 points.

(P) Race – Maximum 50 points.

All men’s categories 1 mile (1.6 km) maximum in 6 minutes,

Less than 5 minutes – 50 points

From 5 minutes to 5 minutes 20 seconds – 40 points

More than 5 minutes 20 seconds and up to 5 minutes 40 seconds – 30 points

More than 5 minutes 40 seconds and up to 6 minutes – 20 points

Male candidates who take more than 6 minutes will be considered failed.

For all female categories: 1 km in a maximum of 5 minutes,

Less than 4 minutes – 50 points

Up to 4 minutes 20 seconds – 40 points

Up to 4 minutes 40 seconds – 30 points

More than 4 minutes 40 seconds and up to 5 minutes – 20 points

Candidates taking more than 5 minutes will be considered not selected.

– Shot put – Maximum 25 points

For all men’s categories, a 16-pound ball must be thrown a minimum of 16 (sixteen) feet.

From 16 feet to 17 feet – 09 points

Over 17 feet and up to 18 feet – 13 points

Over 18 feet and up to 19 feet – 17 points

Over 19 feet and up to 20 feet – 21 points

Over 20 feet – 25 points

Male candidates who throw less than 16 feet will be declared unsuccessful.

For all women’s categories, a 12-pound ball must be thrown a minimum distance of 12 feet.

From 12 feet to 13 feet – 09 points

Over 13 feet and up to 14 feet – 13 points

Over 14 feet and up to 15 feet – 17 points

Over 15 feet and up to 16 feet – 21 points

Over 16 feet – 25 points

Candidates who throw less than 12 feet will be declared unsuccessful.

High jump – Maximum 25 points.

For all men categories – Minimum height 4 (four) feet

04 feet – 13 points

04 feet 4 inches – 17 points

04 feet 8 inches – 21 points

05 feet – 25 points

Male candidates who jump less than 04 feet will be declared unsuccessful.

For all women categories – Minimum height 3 (three) feet

03 feet – 13 points

03 feet 4 inches – 17 points

03 feet 8 inches – 21 points

04 feet – 25 points
