Around 37,000 teachers who passed the Bihar competency exam once again get the opportunity for counselling.

The Bihar Education Department has issued an order. There is good news for teachers who passed the competency test: around 37 thousand employed teachers will have the opportunity to go through the counseling process again. Out of 37,000, 23,801 candidates whose certificates are in the doubtful list. For these, the portal will also be reopened to correct the error.

Please be informed that the selected candidates will be reappointed only after the counseling process is completed.

1.87 lakh employed teachers had passed the Bihar proficiency test. For which the counseling process was organized from August 1, 2024 to September 13, 2024. But due to errors in the names, Aadhaar numbers and certificates of many teachers, their counseling process could not be completed. At the same time, 3,300 teachers did not appear for the counseling process. Therefore, all these teachers are being given a second chance for advice and correction of errors in their papers.

We inform you that the Department of Education has decided to grant the position of government teacher to all teachers employed by the state. But for this the department has made it a condition that teachers must pass the competency test and for this each teacher will have five opportunities to try. After passing the written exam, teachers will receive counseling and then transfer to new schools. This will be done under the teacher transfer policy of the Bihar government.
