Shocking for youth awaiting recruitment results, Haryana Staff Selection Commission to release results only after elections.

The youths awaiting the results of the recruitment in Haryana were in for a shock. Haryana Staff Selection Commission Chairman Himmat Singh on Saturday made it clear that the Election Commission has sent a letter to the Haryana Staff Selection Commission to release all the results only after the elections. He said that the upcoming exam schedule will be made accordingly. The results of Group 56, 57, 1, 2 and Haryana Police may not come before the elections. The Election Commission has clearly refused. He said that the result of 2,600 Group D posts will also be released only after the assembly elections.

While talking to reporters in Chandigarh, the chairman said that examinations for 24,000 posts have been held. Written examinations and selection tests for 12,000 to 14,000 posts are still pending. The result for 12,000 posts has been published. Students are asking us questions about the results of the exams. Some papers are done. Some are yet to happen. He said that students should not pay attention to rumours spread on social media. CET exam will be held between October 24 and December 24. Around 2,800 cases related to the commission are pending in the courts.

Congress had raised questions about procurement

On August 16, the Staff Selection Commission had announced the recruitment to fill up 5,600 vacant posts of police constables. As per the notification, applications for this recruitment were to start from September 10 and would continue till September 24, 2024. Along with this, a notification regarding 76 posts of 2 categories of teachers (TGT and PTI) was also issued on the same day. The election dates were announced on August 16 itself and the Commission had also announced the recruitment on the same day. Congress MP Jairam Ramesh had complained to the Election Commission. The Congress had termed it as a violation of the code of conduct. Following the complaint, the Commission had sought a detailed report on this matter from the state government.

If Congress leaders withdraw the complaint, they will immediately provide 24,000 jobs: Chief Minister

At the same time, on the pending results of the recruitment, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said in a press conference at the BJP office that the gang to stop the recruitment has ruined the future of the youth. We were about to conduct the recruitment, but Congress leader Jairam Ramesh of Bhupendra Hooda and Randeep Surjewala went to the Election Commission and stopped all the recruitments. We have ready the recruitment of 24 thousand youth, only the result is left to be announced. If Jairam Ramesh withdraws his complaint with the Election Commission and the Commission approves it, we will immediately create 24,000 jobs. Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said that today I promise the youth of Haryana that if the election results come after October 4, I will take oath as Chief Minister later and will first join the 24,000 vacancies. I will take oath only after the youth get jobs.

BJP is misleading the public by seeking permission to recruit: Shailaja

Reacting to the statement by the Haryana Staff Selection Commission, Himmat Singh, Congress MP from Sirsa Kumari Shailaja said that when the election code of conduct is in place in the state, the commission will be talking about recruitment. The government knows this very well and the chairman of the Commission also knows that the Election Commission never gives permission to do this. The Commission has made it clear that whatever recruitment is to be done, it will have to be done after the elections. The chairman says that he is ready for recruitment but the election commission is not giving him permission. By saying this, the chairman and the BJP government are trying to mislead the public: if recruitment was to be done, what were they doing till now or were they waiting for the election code of conduct to be implemented in the state?
