UPSC NDA, CDS Exam 2024 Tomorrow: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will conduct the UPSC National Defence Academy and Naval Academy 2nd Exams and Combined Defence Service (CDS) 2nd Exams tomorrow i.e. on September 1, 2024. The NDA exam will be conducted in two shifts. Whereas, the CDS exam will be conducted in 3 shifts. The written exams of NDA and NA will be conducted from 10 am to 12.30 pm and from 2 pm to 4.30 pm. Through this exam, recruitment to vacant posts in the Army, Navy and Air Force will be done.

UPSC NDA & CDS Exam Guidelines 2024:

Some general guidelines have been issued for UPSC NDM and CDS exams. Candidates must follow these rules.

1. After downloading the admit card, read all the details carefully and inform the Union Public Service Commission if there is any discrepancy in the examination centre, address, name or address.

2. Carry the original Identity Card (like Aadhaar etc.) provided at the time of filling the form along with the printout of the Admit Card at the examination centre for every examination session. Keep the Admit Card in a safe place till the final result is published.

3. Candidates must arrive at the examination centres 30 minutes before the start of the exam. After this, the entrance to the examination centre will be closed. According to the examination schedule for the first and second shifts, candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination centre after 09:30 am and 1:30 pm.

4. To avoid last-minute rush for the exam, candidates must visit the examination center at least 1 day before. Candidates must arrive at the examination center taking into account the pat-down on the day of the exam.

5. Mobile phones, electronic gadgets or any objectionable material (admit card, note taking pad or paper) will not be allowed inside the examination centre or kept with you in the examination centre. Violation of the instructions will lead to cancellation of the candidate’s examination and registration of FIR or police complaint against him/her along with debarment from appearing in the examination of the next session.

6. Incorrect answers to exam questions will also be negatively valued.

7. Answers written with a pen other than black will not be evaluated.

8. The candidate will not be allowed to keep valuables, mobile phones, smart or digital watches, books or bags along with any other items in the examination hall.

9. Candidates whose photograph is not clear on the admission card must bring a photo ID and two passport-sized photographs (one photograph each) to appear in the examination.

10. Candidates should carefully remember the roll number and series of the test booklet while filling up the OMR sheet. In case of any mistake or error in the OMR sheet, the answer sheet will not be accepted.

11. Check your name, photo and QR code on the admission card correctly. In case of any discrepancy, you may contact the Public Service Commission.

12. Candidates may bring transparent water bottles into the examination room, but are prohibited from bringing cola drinks or other foods.

13. Candidates may wear a normal wristwatch in the examination hall, but the use of smart watches will be strictly prohibited. The candidate will not be allowed to wear this type of watch.

14. After arriving at the examination center, carefully read the notices and instructions posted outside the examination room.
