UPSSSC Junior Engineer Recruitment Exam: The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has released the syllabus and exam pattern of Junior Engineer Recruitment Exam 2023. According to this, there will be one question paper in the exam which will have a total of 100 questions. The paper will be of two hours duration with multiple choice questions. Each question will be of one mark. One fourth mark will be deducted for every wrong answer. 20 questions will be asked from the state of Uttar Pradesh and 15 questions from the Computer Science and IT subject. Through this selection exam, candidates will be recruited for 4,612 posts. Out of the total 4,612 vacancies, there are 3,739 general selection posts and 873 special selection posts.

Part 1

Theory of strength and structure of materials: 5 questions of 5 points

Reinforced concrete structure design: 10 questions of 10 points

Steel structure and machinery: 5 questions of 5 points

Estimation, Costing and Evaluation – 5 questions of 5 points

Soil, mechanical and foundation engineering: 5 questions of 5 points

Survey: 5 questions of 5 points each.

Transportation Engineering: 5 questions of 5 points

Environmental and Public Health Engineering – 5 questions of 5 points

Building and Construction Materials – 10 questions of 10 points

Fluid mechanics: 5 questions of 5 points

part 2

Knowledge of computer science and information technology concepts and contemporary technological development and innovation in this field: 15 questions of 15 points.

Part 3

General information related to UP status – 20 questions of 20 points

The selection will be done through written examination and interview. Let us tell you that this time B.Tech candidates also got a chance to apply for Junior Engineer recruitment. He did well after a struggle of 21 years. In 2003, he was dropped from JE recruitment.
