CTET Registration December 2024: Tomorrow, October 16, 2024, is the last date to apply for the Central Teaching Eligibility Test (CTET). Those young people who want to become teachers and have not applied can do so by visiting the official website ctet.nic.in. The CTET exam for the December session will be held on December 14. If the number of candidates is greater in any city, the exam can also be held on December 15.

What should be the minimum grades?

To pass the CTET exam, any candidate must obtain minimum qualifying marks.

CTET Minimum Pass Marks: For General Category, you have to score at least 90 marks out of 150 (60 percent), while for SC, ST, you have to score 82 marks out of 150 (55 percent).

CBSE conducts the CTET exam twice a year. The first exam is carried out in the month of July and the second in the month of December. Selected candidates appearing in CTET Paper-1 will be considered eligible for recruitment of teachers for classes 1 to 5. While selected candidates appearing in Paper 2 will be considered eligible for recruitment of teachers for classes 6 to 8 .Candidates who pass this exam can apply for appointment to the post of teachers in Kendriya Vidyalaya, Navodaya Vidyalaya and army schools across the country.

General and OBC

1000 rupees for document 1 or document 2

For both documents – Rs 1200

SC, ST, Divyang

For Paper-1 or Paper-2 – Rs 500

For both newspapers: 600 rupees.
