50 marks to be awarded in CBSE 10th Science competition questions, 38 questions to be asked in Basic Mathematics, Career News

In the 10th CBSE board exam, the number of competency-based questions in the science subject will be 50 per cent. CBSE has released sample papers for the board exams to be held next year. According to the paper, 33 marks will be awarded on the basis of internal assessments. Questions from science subjects will be divided into five groups. All the questions in the first group will be objective. 16 questions will be asked in Section A. Section B will have six short-answer questions. The short-answer questions will be worth two marks each. Seven short-answer questions will be asked in Section C and will carry three marks each. Passage-based questions will be asked in Section D. There will be three long-answer questions. Three passage-based questions will also be asked in Section E. All these questions will carry four marks each.

Apart from Science, 20 marks questions will be asked on Reading Skill in English Language and Literature. 11 questions will be asked on the English paper. The English paper will be divided into sections A, B and C. Questions will be asked on Reading Skill in section A, Grammar and Creative Writing in section B and questions from the textbook in section C. There will be a total paper of 80 marks in English. The English Communicative Paper will be divided into four parts A, B, C, D. Students will be asked 12 questions on the Communication Paper. In section A, questions will be asked from Reading Skill, B from Writing Skill, C from Grammar and D from the Literature textbook. 15 questions will be required to be answered in Hindi A. The paper will be divided into four parts. There will be two questions in the first part, four in the second part, five in the third part and four questions in the fourth part.

There will be questions and 10 sub-questions. The second part will have four questions and 20 sub-questions. The third part will have five questions and 20 sub-questions and the fourth part will have four questions.

In the CBSE 10th board exam, students will be asked 38 questions in Basic Mathematics. The Basic Mathematics paper will be divided into groups from A to E. In Section A, 18 objective questions will be asked. Questions 19 and 20 in this section will be based on region. Section B will have short answer questions of two marks each. Also in Section C, students will be asked short answer questions of three marks each. In Section D, long answer based questions of five marks each will be asked and in Section E, case study based questions of four marks each will be asked.
