Lucknow: The policemen who are providing security for UP Governor Anandiben Patel and CM Yogi Adityanath will be removed. These security personnel failed the discharge test, physical fitness test and many other tests. The security department has passed the test for deployment of new security personnel. Now their service records have been sought. After verifying the service records, training will be conducted and work on deployment of security personnel will be started.
The selection of new security personnel has been completed.
The security department had called the Governor, Chief Minister and the policemen engaged in VVIP security for fitness and shooting tests. Most of them had failed the discharge and fitness tests. When they were called again for tests, no one turned up. Subsequently, the security department started the process of selection of policemen from across the state. For this, 102 policemen were selected from district police, SDRF, PAC, etc. Now the old security personnel will be removed and a new one will be deployed.
Additional subsidy for police officers involved in VVIP security
In UP, during VVIP security deployment, security personnel are given an additional allowance of Rs 25,000 per month. There are other facilities too. That is why no one wants to stay away from VVIP security. After the firing and lack of fitness, now the security personnel will have to be withdrawn. Because VVIP security cannot be compromised. Recently, a commando dedicated to CM Yogi’s security fainted during a public meeting in Pilibhit. Following this, the security department became concerned about the fitness of the security personnel.
