UP Police Constable Exam: Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has issued important guidelines regarding the exam before releasing the exam city and admit card of UP Police Constable recruitment exam which will begin from August 23. UP Police Recruitment Board has said that candidates will have to report at the examination centres 2 hours in advance. The gates will be closed half an hour before. Like the exam will be conducted in two shifts from 10 am to 12 noon and from 3 pm to 5 pm. So, in the morning shift, candidates will be allowed to join till 9.30 am only, while in the evening shift, they will be allowed to join till 2.30 pm. Please be informed that the UP Police Constable Recruitment Exam will be held on August 23, 24, 25, 30 and 31 at 1174 centres in 67 districts of the state. 48 lakh candidates have applied for it. The city-wise information sheet regarding the UP Police Constable Recruitment Exam may be released soon. Through the city-wise information sheet, candidates will get to know in which city of the state and on which date their exam will be held. The details of the city and date of the exam may be released anytime this week.

Admit cards will be issued around August 20 after receipt of exam city. You can download the exam city information sheet and admit card by visiting the UP Police Promotion and Recruitment Department website, uppbpb.gov.in. This time, the highway bus service will be free of cost to reach the centre for the UP Police recruitment exam.

These 5 important rules issued

1. Reach the examination centre 2 hours before the start of the exam. Bring your admit card, Aadhaar card or ID proof (e.g. Aadhaar, DL, passport), black or blue pen. The gates will be closed 30 minutes before the start of the exam. After this, no entry will be given.

2. Candidates who have not mentioned the Aadhaar number in their application form should reach the examination centre 2 hours in advance so that verification can be done within the stipulated time.

3. Candidates must arrive at the examination center on time. Follow all the guidelines written on the admission card.

4. Technical measures have been taken to identify any person attempting to take the exam in place of a candidate. Strict legal action will be taken against such persons and candidates.

5. Any study materials (any printed or written), paper sheets, any kind of watch, mobile smart watch, jewelry, purse or wallet, geometric pencil box, plastic bag, any kind of calculator, credit card into the examination centers, Scale, Copy, Pen Drive, Eraser, Record Board, Electronic Pen, Scanner, Digital Pen, Key, Camera, Bluetooth, Earphone, Pager, Health Band, Protective Glasses, Handbag, Hat, Foods, Cigarette, Lighter, Match Box are strictly prohibited.
