Tata Motors has been working on expanding its line of electric vehicles in the Indian market. In recent times, the brand has presented products such as the Curvv EV, which until its launch was only presented as a concept model. Now, next in line appears to be the electric harrier. Previously unveiled in its concept version at the Auto Expo 2023 and then at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2024, the brand appears to be working on the production version of the vehicle. Currently in its testing phase, the test mule of the electric SUV was spotted at a parking lot in Jabalpur, MP.

Even in camouflage, the test mule seen in MP revealed the design details of the electric SUV. According to the images, the electric vehicle borrows many design elements from its ICE counterpart. In addition, the design details also contain elements of the conceptual version. These can be seen in the form of bi-LED projector headlamps, sequential LED DRLs and LED fog lamps. To differentiate it from the ICE version, the vehicle has a closed grille as seen on most Tata Motors cars derived from ICE vehicles.
