The Government of India, especially to make women self-reliant and boost their morale, has introduced the PM Vishwakarma Sewing Machine Scheme 2024, through which the government will give Rs 15,000 to women so that they can improve their livelihood by learning sewing. PM Vishwakarma Sewing Machine Schematic 2024

The Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Sewing Machine Scheme is an ambitious scheme of the government, specially designed for artisans. The aim of this scheme is to encourage entrepreneurship among workers from 18 different artisan sectors by training them. Which are detailed below:

Eligible workers will be provided with an amount of ₹15,000 and a certificate. A loan facility at low interest rates will be available for business expansion. Under the scheme, a loan of ₹1 lakh can be availed at a 5% interest rate for a sewing machine. Following this, a further loan of up to ₹2 lakh will also be available. A subsidy of ₹500 per day will be provided during training. Workers will also be provided with financial assistance of up to Rs 15,000 for tool kits.

Who can become beneficiaries of PM Vishwakarma Silai Machine Yojana?

• If you are into tailoring or other related craft, you can register for PM Vishwakarma Scheme.
• The minimum age of the beneficiary at the time of registration must be 18 years.
• The beneficiary should not have any loans under central or state government credit schemes like PMEGP, PM Swanidhi or Mudra in the last five years.
• The benefit of this plan will be limited to one member of the family, which includes husband, wife and unmarried children.
• Government employees and their families will not be eligible for this plan.

Benefits of PM Vishwakarma Silai Yojana Machine

1. Before receiving the sewing machine, you will be trained in tailoring work and will receive a stipend of INR 500 per day.
2. Upon completion of the training, you will receive a certificate and will be provided with financial assistance to purchase the necessary tools.
3. Loans up to ₹ 1 lakh in the first installment and ₹ 2 lakh in the second installment will be available at 5% interest.
4. The training programmes will be conducted by the Small and Medium Enterprises Department located at the tehsil or district headquarters.
