Kritika Kamra Calls Raghav Juyal ‘Unpredictable’, Reveals Rainy Winter Shooting Scene From Gyaarah Gyaarah – EXCLUSIVE

Recently, the diva worked with Umesh Bist in Gyaarah Gyaarahwhere she played the female lead. The show launched on Zee5 on August 9 and has since been receiving praise for its captivating narrative. Now, Kritika sat down for an exclusive Zoom chat and shared details about the show. Read on to know the full story.

Sharing her experience of playing a police constable for the first time, Kritika told Zoom, “A uniform carries a certain weight. It was an absolute honour to play a police constable, especially in Uttarakhand.” She added, “So, I auditioned for Gyaarah Gyaarah. The casting team was very nice. When I got the opportunity to audition, I was interested because, prior to that, I had just finished a shoot where I was a gangster. So, to play a character with opposite morals, and since I had never played anything like that, I jumped at it.”
We asked Kritika if the time 11:11 holds a special place in her heart and the actress replied, “We have worked really hard for the show. I don’t really believe in manifestation or have any ritual as such. Since we were working at 11:11, I have seen it on the clock several times, and on the phone occasionally.”
Kritika also loves watching shows about time travel. “I watch shows about time travel. My favourite is Mind Hunter. It’s one of those shows that keeps you up all night. I’m in that fan club that wants another season.”
Talking about the shooting experience, Kritika said, “The shooting experience was lovely. We have a wonderful director for the show. He understands that every actor has a different process and is very collaborative. He changed the way he guided us, sometimes for the same scene. I had a very different synergy with Raghav and a very different synergy with Dhairya as I am in both timelines.
Kritika also shared the off-screen bond with the cast including Rahav Juyal and Dhiarya Karwa, and said, “Their off-screen personalities are very different. Their base energy is very different. Raghav is unpredictable; Raghav is a multitasker; Raghav has more energy and flow. You don’t know what’s coming next. He’s an extrovert. Dhairya is very patient, calm and collected. He thinks before he speaks. It was fun shooting with them.”
Recalling the challenges he faced during the shoot, he said, “The weather was a challenge. There was a rain sequence in winter. There was an action sequence that was new to me; it was a challenge for me. The role demanded a lot from me.”
Kritika also praised producers Guneet Monga and Karan Johar and said, “The way the show was made with so much love and care shows the trust the makers have in it. It’s really heartwarming. You really can’t ask for better producers to support you than Karan and Guneet. So it was an honour.”
