Heavy devastation due to rains in Delhi, many vehicles damaged as school wall collapses

Heavy rains in Delhi: It rained heavily in Delhi on Sunday night. Due to which many areas were submerged in water. People had to face a lot of problems due to waterlogging on the roads. Due to the traffic jam, vehicles are seen crawling on the roads.

Heavy rains in Delhi: Many vehicles damaged due to collapse of government school wall

Many vehicles were damaged after the wall of a government school in New Ashok Nagar, Delhi, collapsed. According to eyewitness Prem Chand, a total of 7-8 cars were damaged. There are 5-6 private vehicles and two ambulances. The wall was already tilted due to rain. The accident took place at around 3.30 pm.

Traffic jam problem in Tilak Nagar area

Following heavy rains in Delhi, there was a traffic jam near Tilak Nagar area. There was a long queue of vehicles. Vehicles were seen moving.

The meteorological department issued an orange alert

The India Meteorological Department on Sunday issued an orange alert for Delhi. The IMD had forecast heavy rainfall.

Three flights diverted at Delhi airport due to bad weather

Due to bad weather, three flights were diverted at Delhi airport on Sunday. The official said that three Air India flights were re-routed. Of these, two flights were from Jaipur and one from Lucknow. The route of these flights was changed between 09.45 and 11.15 hours. The airline said on social media platform ‘X’ on Sunday morning that flights to and from Delhi might be affected due to heavy rains. Passengers are advised to leave early for the airport as slow traffic and waterlogging may lead to delays.

Heavy rains in Bihar, Tej Pratap’s house submerged
