2024 Olympics: These are the prize money that medal-winning athletes will receive in their countries

Hong Kong: The country has recently increased prize money by 20 percent since the Tokyo Olympics. HK$6 million (US$768,000) is given to gold medalists, while silver and bronze medalists earn HK$3 million and HK$1.5 million respectively, it was reported. Economic times.

Singapore: Singapore will donate S$1 million (S$745,300) to the gold medallists, S$500,000 to the silver medallists and S$250,000 to the bronze medallists.

France: By increasing the prize money for the Tokyo Olympics by 15,000 euros, France will now award gold medalists 80,000 euros ($86,528).

India: India offers a cash prize of 7.5 million rupees ($90,000) to gold medallists, while the Indian Olympic Association gives an additional 10 million rupees.

Kazakhstan: The country awards $250,000 to gold medalists, $150,000 to silver medalists and $75,000 to bronze medalists. In addition, the winning athletes are given apartments.

Malaysia: Malaysia’s National Sports Council awards one million ringgit ($215,563) to gold medallists, while silver and bronze medallists receive 300,000 and 100,000 ringgit respectively.
