Kolkata Police are awaiting the final post-mortem report before arriving at any conclusion in the rape and murder case of a female doctor. The body of the junior doctor was found at the RG Kar Medical College and Hospital on Friday morning. The preliminary post-mortem report indicates that the female doctor was sexually assaulted and murdered. Police said the preliminary post-mortem report said the female doctor was murdered after being sexually assaulted. The report said the victim was bleeding from her eyes and mouth and had injuries on her face. The victim was also bleeding from her private parts. Injury marks were also found on her stomach, left leg, neck, right hand, fingers and lips.

Meanwhile, another police officer said circumstantial evidence indicates that the arrested accused first murdered the doctor and then raped her. Police have recovered the clothes and shoes worn by the accused during the crime. To investigate the incident, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the Kolkata police on Sunday met the doctor who conducted the post-mortem of the doctor’s body and asked him to answer many questions related to the post-mortem. The police want to clarify whether the rest of the doctors were raped after murder or murdered after rape. For this, the detailed post-mortem report is awaited.

Meanwhile, forensic expert Dr Shobhan Das believes that in this case the female doctor could have been murdered first. The rape must have happened after that. That is why the injuries found on the deceased doctor’s private parts are called ‘perimortem’ in medical parlance. This is mentioned in the post-mortem report. Therefore, the doctor believes that in this case the female doctor must have been murdered first and then raped. His argument is also that the girl was a doctor. She was stronger than her body. She could have protested when attacked. Then she must have tried to close his mouth. For this, he must have been caught by strangulation by the accused. In such a situation, the girl could have lost consciousness and after this the female doctor could have been raped. The doctor also says that the rape did not take place while she was unconscious. Because the doctor tried to save himself. Due to which injury marks were seen at many places on her body. According to the autopsy, the person who committed this crime should have first carried out a thorough examination of the seminar room. He believes that the accused must have already monitored the victim’s activities. Therefore, he believes that there could be more than one person behind this incident. He says that the girl must have struggled a lot to save herself. During this time she could also have been attacked by rapists. Therefore, on the day of the incident, a medical examination of all male doctors working in thoracic medicine is necessary. All those who were close to the female doctor should be medically examined. The doctor also said that all those who were on duty at the premises from afternoon to evening or who were not on duty but could have gone there or been treated there, should be medically examined. According to him, only in this way can all the other accused be reached.
