Road accident in Jamui: Sachin Kumar, 20, son of Ganpat Rawat, a resident of Banjulia village, was killed in a road accident near Karbala, at the Gangra bend on the Gidhaur Jamui main road. At the spot of the incident, the villagers kept the dead body on the main road and blocked the road for an hour demanding huge compensation.
According to reports, Sachin Kumar, 20, the only son of Ganpat Rawat, a resident of Banjulia village under Patsanda Panchayat of the police station area, was killed after being hit by a tractor vehicle that went out of control and overturned.
He died while being taken to Patna for treatment.
Following the incident, as soon as the local villagers informed the family members, Sachin Kumar, who was critically injured in the accident, was taken to Digvijay Singh Community Health Centre in Gidhaur for treatment. Where the doctor referred the injured man to Sadar Hospital Jamui for first aid in view of his serious condition. The family members said that he died on the way from Sadar Hospital to Patna for treatment.
Angry people blocked the road demanding compensation.
Here, after the incident, the main road was blocked for an hour by local villagers and angry relatives demanding compensation. The angry people were removed from the road after the police arrived at the spot and pacified them.
