Sara Ali Khan celebrates her 29th birthday today. Daughter of Saif Ali Khan and his ex-wife Amrita Singh, she has followed in her parents’ footsteps into acting. The actress celebrated her birthday without any pomp or show.
Sara Ali Khan celebrated her 29th birthday with her close friends and family. The actress started the day on a good note as she performed the pooja of Lord Shiva at her home on the day of Shravan Somvaar. Later, she visited an orphanage and was seen interacting with an adorable child who gifted her a special handmade card.
Sharing pictures from their togetherness birthday celebration, Sara wrote: “Happiness, joy and gratitude 🙏🏻☮️🧿🪬 Thank you for all the birthday wishes (sic).”
If you look closely, you can see a picture of the Kedarnath temple in the post. In an earlier interview, Sara Ali Khan spoke about her belief in secularism. She said, “I was born in a secular family, in a sovereign, secular, democratic republic. The spirit of standing up against what is wrong is within me. So if I see it happening not just to me but to anyone around me, I will stand up against it. My religious beliefs, my food choices, how I decide to go to the airport, that is my decision, and I will never apologise for that.”
