Nawab Singh Yadav was arrested by the police on Monday and sent to jail. It is said that he was honoured for his good work on August 4 itself. The honour is bestowed by the SP of Kannauj himself, who subsequently ordered his arrest. It is said that when a case was registered against Nawab Singh Yadav, it was revealed that 16 other cases had been registered against him. Cases have been registered thrice at Kannauj City Police Station and Tirwa Police Station under sections like Goonda Act and attempt to murder.
Nawab Singh Yadav charged with attempted rape
Nawab Singh Yadav is accused of attempting to rape a minor girl aged 15 years. Police reportedly received a phone call on 112 at 1.30 am. The police team said the call was from a minor girl, who alleged that an attempt was made to rape her.
Nawab Singh was arrested in a reprehensible state
Kannauj SP Amit Kumar Anand said, “This call came from a minor girl, who said that her clothes were removed and an attempt was made to assault her.” Following this complaint, the police team reached the spot and arrested Nawab Singh Yadav in an “objectionable” condition.

The minor told the police about his terrible experience
During interrogation, the minor said that she had gone to Nawah Singh Yadav’s house with her aunt and was told that she had to go there for work. A case was registered under the Indian Code of Justice and the POCSO Act. The accused has been arrested and the matter is under investigation.
