A shocking news has come to light in Mumbai, the capital of Maharashtra. A person was murdered over a dispute over payment of autorickshaw fare. Regarding the incident, a Mumbai Police official said that there was an argument between two persons over payment of autorickshaw fare in Kurla on Monday, following which the murder took place.

The police said that in this fight, a 28-year-old youth working in a garment factory was killed by his colleague. The officer said that the incident took place at 12:30 am on Arterial LBS Road and the deceased was identified as Chhakkan Ali.

According to the news agency, the officer said: ‘Examination of CCTV footage from the area has revealed that the deceased was attacked by a person. The Crime Branch team is now investigating this matter. In the police investigation, the accused of murder has been identified as Saif Zahid Ali, who was working as a helper in the same unit of the factory.

Following this murder incident, the Crime Branch team caught the accused Saif Ali at Kalyan railway station in the evening. He told the police that there was a fight between the two over the payment of autorickshaw fare, following which he attacked, leading to the death of Chhakkan Ali. The police handed him over to the Kurla police for further action. An official said that the murder accused will be produced before the court on Tuesday.

The murder took place four days ago in Navi Mumbai.
