There was a continuous flow of people from morning to evening to offer prayers. On this occasion, special arrangements were made by the temple committee of many Shivalayas. Many programmes related to devotion were also organised. Shri Balunkeshwar temple and Chandrashekhar Mahadev temple located at Vedvyas were the most crowded. Devotees reached here early in the morning and after bathing in Sangam, they offered prayers at the temple and performed Jalabhishek. From Sunday evening to Monday morning, a large number of devotees left with Kanwar for various temples in the city. Especially at Gupteshwar Mahadev temple, Dhavaleshwar Mahadev temple at Devgaon and other temples, devotees offered Kanwar water. More than 15 thousand devotees worshipped at the Dhavleshwar Mahadev temple located in Devgaon from morning till evening.

Thousands of Kavaris performed Jalabhishek at Gupteshwar Shivalay and the hill temple of Birmitrapur town. The entire town resonated with the slogans of Bolbam. On the fourth Monday, a large number of devotees from Birmitrapur and surrounding areas reached Birmitrapur on foot carrying water from Vedvyas. Various institutions arranged camps at various places to serve the Kanwariyas. There were arrangements for refreshments etc. In Kumjharia, under the leadership of Sunil Tiwari, Munna Mittal, Aditya Shukla, Rahul Mittal served the Kanwariyas by distributing biscuits and tea.
