Young doctors on strike at UP medical schools

Lucknow: Work was halted in UP (UP News) medical colleges and institutions on Tuesday in protest against the brutality against doctors in West Bengal. Junior doctors demonstrated demanding justice. During this period, medical services were paralyzed. OPD services were paralyzed due to boycott of doctors from KGMU, Sanjay Gandhi PGI, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences, Balrampur Hospital. Due to this, patients had to face problems. The protesting doctors say that such a big scandal has occurred. But the Prime Minister has not yet spoken on this matter. They should intervene in this matter.

Resident doctors completely stopped work at KGMU on Tuesday. The doctors reached the new OPD building, where they raised slogans. With the arrival of hundreds of doctors, the OPD hall was completely packed. Due to this, the patients’ attendants were unable to get the prescription made at the OPD. The doctors sat at the gate of the OPD and kept shouting slogans. The same was the condition at Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences located in Gomti Nagar. There too, the resident doctors continued to go on strike. Due to this, the treatment of patients at OPD was completely stopped.
