Lights stolen from Ram Path and Bhakti Path in Ayodhya

Ayodhya: In Ayodhya (Ayodhya News), 3,800 bamboo lights and 36 gobo projector lights worth over Rs 50 lakh, installed on Ram Path and Bhakti Path leading to Ramlala temple, were stolen. This incident happened at the most important and secure place in Ayodhya. But the police had no idea about it. The Ayodhya Development Authority had installed these lights on the trees on Rampath of Yash Enterprises and Krishna Automobiles. A total of 6,400 bamboo lights and 96 gobo projectors were installed on Bhaktipath.

FIR filed two months after the robbery

According to information received by Bhasha news agency, the company representative Shekhar Sharma has said that 3,800 bamboo lights and 36 gobo projectors installed at Rampath (Ayodhya Ram Path) and Bhaktipath (Ayodhya Bhakti Path) have been stolen. He has lodged an FIR at Ram Janmabhoomi police station. 6,400 bamboo lights were installed at Rampath and 96 gobo projector lights at Bhakti Path. By March 19, all the lights had been installed but after inspection on May 9, some lights were found to be missing. Investigation revealed that approximately 3,800 bamboo lights and 36 gobo projector lights had been stolen. The firm came to know about this theft in May but the case was dropped two months after the theft. The police are investigating the matter.

There were potholes on Ram Path due to rain

Questions are continually being raised about development works in Ayodhya. Wherever development or beautification works were carried out in Ayodhya, including Ram Path, during the rains, poor conditions were revealed. There were huge potholes in the middle of the Ram Path road. At that time too, fingers were raised regarding the working style of the Ayodhya Development Authority. Now the incident of light theft has come to light. What is special is that the incident came to light in May and the report was drafted on August 9.
