After Patna, now Rapido bike taxi service has also started in Muzaffarpur. Muzaffarpur District Magistrate Mr. Subrata Kumar Sen inaugurated the bike taxi service by displaying the green flag on Wednesday. Transport Secretary Shri Sanjay Kumar Aggarwal said that in the first phase, it has been decided to start bike taxi service in Muzaffarpur including Darbhanga, Bhagalpur, Purnia, Gaya, Vaishali, Saran, Munger, Nalanda, Begusarai, Rohtas, Katihar and Kishanganj districts.

The Transport Secretary said that cycle taxis are being launched at the district headquarters with an aim to provide an accessible and safe transport service to the passengers. This service is already available in Patna. Now cycle taxi services will be started in the districts in a phased manner. In the first phase cycle taxi services will be started in 13 districts. In the second phase it will be started in a total of 25 districts.
With the introduction of taxis, travel options will be available.
