Registration for NEET 2024 counselling begins

The Medical Advisory Committee has started registration for the first round of NEET AND 2024 Counselling on August 14th at mcc.nic.inThis counselling is for 15% of the All India Quotas (AIQ), and candidates with a valid NEET UG score can now register for MBBS and BDS programmes.

To start the registration process, candidates must provide the email address and mobile phone number they used in their NTA NEET AND 2024 application form.

The MCC will use the registered email address and mobile number to send all counselling-related communications. During registration, candidates are required to upload important documents such as NEET UG scorecard, admit card, allotment letter, class 10 and 12 marksheets, identity proof, category and domicile certificates.

NEET 2024 Counselling:How to register

Step 1: Visit the official website of MCC at mcc.nic.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, find and click on the link for MCC NEET UG Counselling Registration for UG courses.

Step 3: Please log in by entering the required credentials and submit.

Step 4: Complete the application form and pay the required fee.

Step 5: Click “Submit” to complete your registration.

Step 6: Please download the confirmation page and save it to your devices. It is also a good idea to print a copy for future reference.

NEET 2024 Advice: Registration Fees

The registration fee for candidates in the unreserved category is Rs 1,000, plus a security deposit of Rs 10,000. For candidates in the SC, ST, OBC and PwD categories, the fee is Rs 500, with a security deposit of Rs 5,000. Applicants from recognised universities are required to pay Rs 5,000 as counselling fee and Rs 2 lakh as security deposit.

The deadline to complete online registration and payment is 20 August 2024 at 15:00. To ensure a smooth registration process, candidates are advised to use a laptop or desktop computer with the latest version of Chrome, Internet Explorer or Firefox to avoid technical difficulties.
