WhatsApp adds new options to use and share stickers within the app, all the details

If you use stickers on WhatsApp We often have good news! The Meta-owned instant messaging app has announced that it is adding new options for using stickers on the platform. This includes access to GIPHY’s extensive sticker collection directly within WhatsApp, making using stickers in chats even more fun.

“We’re adding new ways for you to customize and enjoy stickers. We’ve partnered with GIPHY to bring their extensive collection of stickers directly to WhatsApp,” the Meta-owned messaging giant said.

This integration will allow users to find and share relevant and engaging stickers without having to leave the app. To access these stickers, simply tap on the sticker icon and search using text or emoji.

Additionally, Custom Sticker Maker is now available on Android devices, meaning users can easily create, edit, and share their own stickers. With this feature, you can turn your photos into custom stickers or customize existing ones using editing tools like cropping, adding text, and drawing.

Once created, stickers are automatically saved to the sticker tray for easy access and sharing with family and friends.

AI Stickers: You can also use Meta AI to create more custom stickers. Currently, AI sticker creation is available for iPhone and Android in the US. Android users can also try AI sticker creation in Spanish and Indonesian.

WhatsApp has also announced that users will now be able to easily discover new WhatsApp sticker packs by previewing them in the sticker tray below the ones they have downloaded.

To organize your sticker tray, you can also tap and hold a sticker to move it to the top or remove it.

In relation to this, WABetaInfo, a website that tracks WhatsApp, revealed that the instant messaging app is currently experimenting with a new feature that allows users to make their avatar visible on their profiles. This means that users will be able to see their avatar when they swipe up their profile picture on the chat info screen, providing an additional layer of personalization and identity.

This feature will improve the way users represent themselves in chats by giving their contacts a quick way to see their avatar alongside their profile details. The feature will be very similar to the one already available on Instagram, where avatars are displayed on users’ profiles.
