When will there be relief from heavy rains in Uttar Pradesh?

It may rain in many areas on August 15

The IMD has said that rain could occur in many districts on August 15 as well. During this period, there are also chances of rain with thunder and lightning. There is a possibility of heavy rainfall with thunderstorms and thundershowers in eastern UP from August 14 to 18.

Flood threat in many districts
The Met Department has said that there will be heavy rainfall in UP throughout this week. Due to continuous rains in the state, many rivers, including the Ganga, are overflowing. Water is filling low-lying areas. There is a danger of flooding at many places. IMD has said that today (Aaj Ka Mausam) includes the capital Lucknow, Varanasi, Kanpur, Agra, Gorakhpur, Chandauli, Lakhimpur Kheri, Jaunpur, Rae Bareli, Sonbhadra, Basti, Deoria, Mirzapur, Kushinagar, Siddharthnagar, Bahraich, Gautam Buddha Nagar. There is a possibility of heavy rainfall in many more districts.

When will we get relief from the rain?
As for the continuous rains in UP, weathermen have said that currently the monsoon is active in the state. Due to this, it is raining in different parts of the state for many days. When the monsoon trough line completely moves towards the Himalayas, the rainy season will end in the state. However, this week it will continue to rain in many parts of the state.
