The case is from Barethi Tiraha of Bhagwaan police station area of ​​Chhatarpur district. Where 12 tribal labourers returning from work were left under a tree due to heavy rains. Then a lightning bolt struck the tree due to which a woman and her daughter died on the spot. While 10 other people were injured. Of which the condition of 8 injured remains critical.

Mother and daughter died from lightning

Kashi Bai Adivasi, 40, and her daughter Kavita Adivasi, 20, were killed on the spot in the incident. While 10 others were injured. The condition of eight of them remains critical. After the incident, all of them were taken to the local health centre. From where 7 people have been referred to the district hospital.

The workers were working in the peanut fields.

Giving information, SDM Prashant Aggarwal said that two women were killed and 10 others were injured in the incident. All of them had gone to condemn the groundnut. Then, around 3 o’clock, it started raining heavily and all the workers stood under the Shyamra tree. In the meantime, lightning struck and an accident took place. The dead and injured will soon receive adequate compensation from the government. The administration is also keeping an eye on their treatment.
