The government’s efforts to reshape the Union Territory’s security and development landscape, especially following the abrogation of Article 370 in 2019, have faced challenges, including the recent terror incidents in the Jammu division. The Supreme Court has ordered holding of assembly elections before September 30, which could also be taken up.
