NEET PG Result It is expected to be published soon in 2024. This year, the National Board of Education will publish the NEET Program Results based on the normalization process as the exam was conducted in two shifts. NEET PG 2024 exam was held on August 11 in two shifts – 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM and 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM. For fair allotment of marks, NEET PG scores will be normalized and as per norms, percentile scores will be calculated to 7 decimal places to avoid clustering effect.
According to the official notice issued by BEIn this scoring method, the HIGHEST SCORE on each exam (regardless of raw scores/percentage obtained) will be the 100th percentile, indicating that 100% of candidates obtained a score at or below the highest/first score in that round.
NBE further explained the normalization process through example: in shift 1, if the highest score is 80%; in shift 2, if the highest score is 82%; in shift 3, if the highest score is 78%; and in shift 4, if the highest score is 79%, all the highest scores would be normalized to the 100th percentile for their respective group/shift.
The lowest score would be assigned a percentile based on the total number of candidates who took the exam.
