PKL 2024 Auction Live Update: Pawan Sehrawat, Maninder Singh among big players to be auctioned

Pro Kabaddi League 2024 Auction: The first step towards Pro Kabaddi League Season 11 begins on August 15, when auctions for the upcoming edition of India’s second most popular sports league begin on Thursday. Ahead of the auction, a total of 88 players were retained by the 10 Pro Kabaddi League franchises, and now over 500 players will go up for auction in the 2-day auction from August 15-16.

The players who will be up for sale in the Pro Kabaddi League Season 11 auction will be divided into four categories – A, B, C and D. While the players in Category A have a base price of Rs 30 lakh, the players in Category B will have a base price of Rs 20 lakh, the players in Category C will have a base price of Rs 13 lakh and the players in Category D will be available at a base price of Rs 9 lakh.

Several star players including Pawan Sehrawat, Mohammed Alireza Chiyaneh and Maninder Singh will be up for auction, and we could see an intense battle between the teams.

Teams will have a total purse of Rs 50 crore. However, this may vary depending on the number of players a franchise has retained.
