NTA UGC NET June 2024 Exam City Ticket: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has published the city notification bulletin for the subject-wise examination University Scholarship Commission The National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) June 2024 session examination is scheduled to be conducted from August 28 to September 4, 2024. Candidates who have successfully completed the online application form can download their exam city slip from the official website ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

“NTA is now displaying the advance notification for allotment of exam city for UGC – NET June 2024 to be held on 28, 29 and 30 August 2024 and 2, 3 and 4 September 2024,” the NTA notification read.

“Candidates are advised to review/download their Exam City Notification Ticket UGC – NET June 2024, (using your application number and date of birth) from the website ugcnet.nta.ac.in/wef on 14 August 2024 and follow the instructions contained therein,” the notification added.

The city notification slip contains information about the exam location so the student can travel and find accommodations before the exam.

Candidates are advised to check their photo, signature and QR code on the city notification slip. If the photo, signature or QR code is missing, please download it again.

NTA UGC NET June 2024: Admit Cards

UGC NET June 2024: Exam Pattern

The examination pattern for 2024, as prescribed by the NTA, includes two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2. The total duration of both papers combined is three hours. Both papers consist of objective type multiple choice questions (MCQs). A total of 150 questions are asked, with 50 questions in Paper 1 and 100 questions in Paper 2. There is no negative marking in the examination.

The NTA is planning to conduct the UGC-NET exam in June 2024 in the Computer-based test (CBT), a modality for 83 subjects in different cities of the country between August 21 and September 4, 2024.

It is important to note that the UGC NET June 2024 exam was conducted in pen-and-paper format on June 18 and in two shifts but was cancelled amid the NEET-UG fiasco. The government said that the UGC received certain inputs regarding the exams from the National Cybercrime Threat Analysis Unit of the Indian Cybercrime Coordination Centre (I4C). These inputs prima facie indicate that the integrity of the aforementioned exam may have been compromised. However, after investigation, it was found that the paper was not leaked.
