The video shows her moving to another room to rest and remarks, “It’s 2 am” (2 baj gaye). The scene turns heartbreaking when she is shown terrified while being attacked. The video ends with a poignant message, “If the doctor is like God, have we killed God?” (Agar doctor bhagwan hai toh kya humne bhagwan ko maar diya).

The Indian Medical Association (IMA) has announced a nationwide strike which began at 6 am today to protest against the brutal rape and murder of a 31-year-old junior doctor at the RG Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata. The strike has affected services in hospitals and clinics across India, except emergency services.
Family shares horrifying details
In an interview with Lallantop, the family said they were initially told that their daughter had committed suicide and had to wait outside the hospital for three hours before they were allowed to see the body. A relative accompanying the family said: “The parents pleaded with the hospital authorities to allow them to see their daughter’s face, but they still had to wait for three hours.”
“After a long wait, the father was finally able to see the body. He was allowed to take a photo, which he showed us afterwards. She was not wearing any clothes. Her legs were spread at a 90-degree angle… this cannot happen unless the pelvic girdle is broken, suggesting she was brutally assaulted,” the relative added.
