Dehradun: A shocking news has come from Dehradun, Uttarakhand, where a woman spotted a spy camera inside a women’s toilet. In this incident, a lawyer has accused a famous restaurant in Dehradun of having installed a hidden camera inside the toilet, which was recording the video.
The spy camera was installed in the false ceiling of the bathroom, which was intentionally placed there to record the activities. After this news came to light, the matter was reported to the police and a member of staff was arrested.
According to police, a restaurant staff member hung his mobile phone upside down on the broken section of the false ceiling of the bathroom. This recorded everything that was happening inside the bathroom. Dehradun police have recovered all the videos and mobile phones.
A video also surfaced on social media showing the woman lashing out at the restaurant staff members and footage capturing the entire incident in detail.
Uttarakhand Women’s Commission chairperson Kusum Kandwal inspected the spot and asked the district magistrate and the administration to take strict action in the matter. She also stressed that a check should be conducted in all hotels and restaurants in the capital and it should be ensured that CCTV cameras are functioning there and there is no lapse in security in women’s toilets.
