Ranchi: Relatives of deceased Havildar Chauhan Hembram of Hazaribagh District Force met Chief Minister Hemant Soren at the Chief Minister’s residential office on Kanke Road, Ranchi on Saturday. The Chief Minister expressed his heartfelt condolences to Havildar Late Chauhan Hembram’s wife Jomoti Devi, son Mahesh Hembram, daughter Swati Hembram and other family members. The CM assured the kin of deceased Havildar Chauhan Hembram that they will get justice under any circumstances. The Chief Minister told the kin that the state government has given strict instructions to senior police officials, including the DGP, that the culprit should be arrested at the earliest and given the most severe punishment so that similar incidents are not repeated in future. The Chief Minister said that the dependent will be given a government job.

How did the criminal kill the guard on duty?
Chauhan Hembram, a resident of Pindatand village under Taratand police station area of Giridih district, was working as a Havildar in Hazaribagh district force. He was killed by a criminal on 12 August 2024 while on duty.
