In Andhra Pradesh, a woman committed suicide by burning herself alive along with her two children. Regarding the incident, the police said that on Saturday a 34-year-old woman along with her two minor children ended their life by setting themselves on fire in Raichoti. According to the police, the husband had doubts about the woman’s character which she could not tolerate. According to the police, her husband used to torture her over this matter.

According to the police, Rama Devi opened the LPG cylinder in her house and set herself ablaze along with the children. According to the news agency, the officer said, “The deceased woman’s husband, Y Raja (37), works in Kuwait, from there CCTV cameras were installed in the house to keep an eye on her.” He said that Raja used to work as a tailor in Kuwait and from there he monitored his wife through cameras.

According to police, before taking her own life, the woman had sent a message to her brother saying that she could no longer bear her husband’s suspicions and harassment. Police said that when the woman’s brother informed the sister’s neighbours, she was burnt to death.

The police are now holding her husband responsible for the death of the woman and children, following which the police have registered a case under relevant sections and have started the process to bring her back to India so that a case can be processed against her here.
